The HSV 1/2 herpes testing kit detects both Oral and genital herpes. 

Genital herpes is a STI, which is caused by the virus herpes simplex. Herpes symptoms? You do not necessarily have any complaints, but you can still pass on the virus. Common symptoms include a burning or painful sensation, pain when urinating, itching and irritation around the genitals, red spots or sores on places that are hard to see, such as on the cervix or around the anus. 
Oral herpes (cold sore) is a common infection of the mouth area and can be spread through intimate contact with someone who is infected. Oral herpes can sometimes be difficult to diagnose. It is often confused with many other infections.
